Pal Craftaid
Pal Craftaid is a faith-based nonprofit. They raise money for health and education programs in Palestine through donations and sales of high-quality craft items hand made by Palestinian artisans. They wanted to increase their donations, expand their sales and reach more people by selling products online. Their old site wasn’t getting the results they needed and was difficult to keep up to date.
Their new site combines educational resources and news with a full-featured e-commerce solution and is easy enough for their “technologically challenged volunteers” (the volunteers’ self description, not mine) to keep current.
Since the launch of their site in December, 2014 online sales have more than doubled from sales on their previous site and they’ve garnered nearly $10,000 in online donations.
