Twice a year in the summer for the last couple years I’ve made lunch for the Methodist women’s birthday lunch.

Today was the last time for this year.

On the menu:

  • Spinach Salad — with mango, bacon, goat cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette.
  • Beef Stroganoff — served over a bed of egg noodles.
  • Birthday cake and vanilla ice cream.

Instead of paying a restaurant for their lunch, the ladies make donations to Habitat for Humanity.
