Here’s another great resource for anyone who wants to start learning to code:

Free Code Camp.

They have 6 completely free 300-hour courses (and you get real certificates for completing them) that take you from the very basics of HTML and CSS (the backbone structure of web pages), through Javascript, data structures, APIs and microservices, and online security. All complete with exercises, practice projects, and job interview practice scenarios.

The courses are self-guided, but thorough, and there is community help to get through them when you’re stuck.

By the time you get through all the certificates, you even have a public portfolio of work to show off.

If you’re looking to get into the website programming field, don’t have money for night school, but an hour or so per night, this might be for you.
