I started the 100 Days of Code.

It’s a project I’ve thought about doing for a while now. It’s always seemed like a good idea, but until now I’ve put it off.

Why? Because it’s a commitment to code for 1 hour on a real project for something other than client work. To work on something that isn’t what I’ve done before, and to do it publicly, out in the open, where everyone can see. On the upside, that means that everyone will see when I’m making progress. On the downside, that means everyone gets to see my mistakes!

That’s scares me.

But at this point, I think it’s what I need in order to push myself to the next level.

Sometimes the thing I most need to do is the thing I’m most afraid to do.
